Richard Gray had a son, Robert, and a daughter, Jane.  They are also commemorated in Holy Trinity - you can find their floor slab in the South Transept.

Robert Gray (1670-1724) died three years before his extraordinarily long-lived father. Jane (1667-1730), who married the merchant Richard Wait, died three years after her father.

The floor slab reads:

In this Vault lieth the Body of Mr Robert Gray Son of Alder man Richard Gray, who departed this life August the 26 Anno Domini 1724 Aged 54 Years.

Here also the Body of his Sister JANE Widow of Mr RICH.D WAIT Merchant of this Town
She Departed this life the 26th of August 1730 Aged 63

Summary

A wall plaque commemorates Richard Gray, a merchant who was Mayor in 1691 and 1706.

It is remarkable to think of his life spanning 96 years. As a child of 5 or 6 he would have seen the terrible plague of 1637. He then spent his boyhood during the Civil War. He was a young man of 18 when Charles I was beheaded, and lived through the Republic, the Restoration, the Dutch Wars and Town-Taking Day before he became Mayor for the first
time!
